Frequently Asked Questions

Sales

How long will it take for my purchase to arrive?

We deliver all scores automatically once payment has been received. Check your inbox and spam folders for a download link. If you haven’t received anything after an hour, contact our customer support.

Can I order physical scores?

At the moment, no — we are a digital-only company. This may change in the future!

What if I lose access to a previous purchase?

All American Brass Press works arrive via email, so be sure to check your inbox and spam folders. If you can’t find your download link, contact our customer support and we’ll be happy to assist!

Can I share my purchases with friends and fellow musicians?

No — each score is intended for use by the individual or chamber group purchasing it. We give more than half of our sales revenue back to composers and arrangers in the form of royalties and commissions, and when our works are pirated, working musicians pay the price.

Can I perform American Brass Press publications in public?

Yes, but you can’t charge an audience admission fee unless you have a Mechanical Licensing Agreement through American Brass Press. If you intend to charge admissions fees, you must contact us here.

Can I record American Brass Press publications?

We’d love to know about your recordings of works from the ABP catalogue! Feel free to share them with us and we’ll look to post them on our social-media channels, or tag us if you’re posting them yourself!

NB: If you’re planning to create professional recordings or broadcasts, royalties may be involved — please contact us directly.
